Growing People has been working in the field of sanitation, water conservation and environmental protection since the year 2019 and is continuously running campaigns on these topics in Meerut. The organization provides a variety of activities including door to door awareness, waste segregation and collection, training and capacity building programs and field visits for ULB staff, NGOs, waste pickers and other stakeholders, Swachh Survey and MIS filling under MOHUA, consultations with urban local bodies, livelihood promotion of waste picker community, composting and material recovery facilities for recycling dry/plastic waste, and sanitation. The organization provides training on kitchen garden, organic farming, composting from cow dung and household wet waste, junk se jugaad, etc. Growing People supports the Municipal Corporation and Cantonment Board in Meerut by organizing cleanliness drives, cycle rallies, seminars and different types of competitions and activities, etc. for mass awareness. The organization articulates innovative ideas to enhance the quality of clean and green environment to keep pace with global trends.
